In talking with a number of consultant/trainer friends I hear a common story. People are postponing events because they don’t want to spend several thousand dollars at this time. Confusion over the credit crisis, anxiety from falling stock prices, uncertainty over what 2009 will bring and fear of it means layoffs are all contributing to paralysis. The best way to fight through the angst is to act. Wait and see is a prescription for failure. The best action to take is one that adds visible value. How do you show value in the short term? As Henry Kaiser said, “Find a need and fill it.” In support of Henry’s advice I am offering you a present; a personal present. What is a need that your company has now? Is it cutting costs, engaging a frightened workforce, retaining mission critical talent, preparing for layoffs, launching a new product or service, or what???? I will spend two hours with you by phone helping you solve that problem or taking advantage of an opportunity to otherwise show tangible value added. It works like this:
Bottom line: you show management that you are a person of action who should be listened to and valued. If this makes sense to you call me directly at 408 223 7750. Let’s start the New Year off with a show of strength. Jac |
