Workforce Intelligence Institute Launches Predictive Human Capital Management Initiative

On June 27-29 Workforce Intelligence Institute held the first meeting of its Predictive Initiative. This was the launch of the predictive human capital management model development initiative. Supported by the twenty-three companies listed below the group heard presentations from The Future of Work, Oracle on data mining, Success Factors, Knowledge Advisors, Personnel Decisions International, Scarlett Surveys, WorldatWork and others. All were focused on predictive technology.

The goal of WII, with the assistance of these firms, is to deliver four products by the Spring of 2008. The deliverables include:

  • A strategic planning, management and measurement system that integrates all HR activities around corporate imperatives
  • A data mining software application that gives HR capability to select the most effective interventions and predict ROI
  • A consultative training package to implement the system
  • A future-facing metrics system that tracks leading indicators and intangibles.

Led by Dr. Jac Fitz-enz, the group will meet quarterly to review progress. The next meeting is scheduled for October 9 in Chicago, preceding the HR Tech conference.
